The Triple A Concept
Awareness. Acceptance. Authenticity.
Awareness is the foundation for change. If you are self-aware, you grow as a leader. By understanding your belief system, values, thoughts, feelings, emotions, responses, energy level and beyond, you can reach your highest potential.
The awareness of reality (what’s actually happening) vs. what you believe is happening is a really big factor. Are you seeing the right one? Also looking at the people around you and picking up on their energy and influence is key. Your team needs a flexible leader that can work with various personalities.
Acceptance is the next A. You must accept yourself, others, outcomes, emotions and be okay with all of it. The more you accept and stop fighting against, the better the experience.
Authenticity is the final A. You must be comfortable being yourself. Don’t wear a mask in front of your team or feel like you have to perform. You were put into your role for a reason. Believe in your talents and others will follow.
